I am Elaina: a 25-year-old Calfornian, who has decided to give up her comfy little life in Santa Cruz for the chance to be a jobless vagabond. I’m about to take off for a long travel through foreign lands. I’ll be taking a bike and living out of my panniers, staying with friends, seeking out interesting communities and projects wherever I find myself. I’m not really sure what I’m doing, but I think it’s gonna work out pretty well.

I recently bought one of those cute, mini computers and a digital camera. I’ll be using this blog as a diary of my journey, posting my route and photos of the interesting things I see along the way. This is mostly a way for me to keep track of what I’m doing and where I’ve been, and to share it all with my family and friends. Please comment!
