Where? When?

I took a train from Barcelona to Málaga and then spent four days riding to Cádiz. From there, leaving my bike with a friend, I took a bus to Tarifa and went on to Morocco.

There is a Ferry between Tarifa, Spain and Tangier, Morocco. In Morocco, we took trains when possible, but took lots of buses too. Between Fez and Merzouga we rode in a taxi with five other people.

Once back in Spain, I took a bus from Tarifa to Cádiz and then to Sevilla. From there I followed the Via de la Plata north through Mérida and Cáceres to Salamanca.

Once back in Barcelona and having reassembled the bicycle, I rode towards France.

I rode most of the way to Paris and then down to Lyon, but also too the train a lot. I was in France for over three months, moving pretty slowly until the last few weeks when I decided to go back to Paris on the train and also return to Barcelona by train.
